Interventions to mitigate health issues raised in Schools
Following the recent health related illnesses that were identified in New Explorers Girls Academy (NEGA) School in Bugesera district and Rambura Filles Secondary School in Nyabihu District, the Ministry of Health and its stakeholders have been conducting investigations and are providing care to the students.
The situation is under control and being managed in close collaboration with the Ministry of Education, health facilities and other relevant stakeholders.
Some students have already recovered and the Ministry is sending a kind request to everyone to respect patient right with regard to confidentiality.
